can anyone recommend a good free pdf viewer/maker etc?

i have just realised that adobe reader didnt come already installed on windows 7 so thought I might give another program a go...
i have heard of a few but want and general reliable all rounder that will let me create, edit others etc

I got a free download from cutepdf.com that works very well. I does all the things I do at work using Adobe Acrobat.

cutePDF to make them, Foxit reader to read them.
