DVD Subtitle Burning

I have a file for a Korean movie and a seprate folder with the subtitles on it. Try as I might I cannot find a way to burn them both to play on a domestic DVD player. The video clip burns fine, perfect sound but in Korean language. They link together on my PC and play fine on that. I have been trying it using Nero.
