bread sauce too
What sweet things do you have in your cupboards?

Could you make a bread and butter pudding with soya milk and egg yolks?
I posted on the original one, just now - apricot jam glaze on the gammon as you put it in the oven - or a parsley sauce (mine are in a packet).

I can't use butter NoM - one of our number is on a no cream, no butter, no milk diet pending investigation for Crohns disease.

flump it, I am going to kill the FH.

I have every sweet thing in my cupboards, reckon I can get away with zabaglione. Served with head of FH.
What about a bread pudding made with jam sandwiches, and no butter.

?
Go out.
''Go out''

Yep. Or a takeaway and a visit to the offy on the way back. Job done.
thicken the stock with Smash, add chopped parsley/mint/coriander & seasoning. Serve as a sauce.

Sweet: Have you any ice-cream to top with fruit ie glace cherries, cake toppings etc & chopped nuts, dessicated coconut - food color if too pale
He owes you one, big time, barmaid!

OK, so we are now at the point where I have used the stock to make a sauce. Thickened with flour and stirred in brandy. It tastes like gloopy brandy and coke.

Meanwhile the FH (I say that very loosely now) is talking with his colleagues about the future "gate increase" and various other Sugar that I don't understand. He just said "Can I help?". Through gritted teeth I managed "no every thing is fine, dear" - the sub text being "you Fluffing bastard, if you ever do this to me again you are deader than a dead thing".

He swears he told me about this last week. I swear he didn't - had he told me I'd have Fluffing planned it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still stuck for a non dairy sweet (so that excludes ice cream).
Cheese and biscuits - oh no, no cheese. Marmite and biscuits. Licqueur coffees instead of pud?
pancakes with honey & brandy
FH ? What's that? Former Husband?
flambouyed, sic (served flamed)
Flambéd husband, more like
Do you have any fresh fruit....poach it in the brandy(if there is any left)-or any other liqueur you may have...make a chocolate sauce to pour over.
pancakes or crepes spread with nutella and folded over into quarters then coated with a little warmed brandy or liquer (e.g amaretto or something and served with cream or ice-cream for those allowed and with a bit extra liquer for the non dairy person

Thank you all for you input. Thankfully it was such a large joint, no one wanted a dessert (despite having zabaglione on standby). I made a sauce out of the stock with some flour and brandy which everyone liked (I thought was pants!).

Now "himself" is getting Reiki treatment by the two guests while I clear up!! Harumph. As he lies in total relaxation on the sofa, I am plotting which bits of his body I can aim something at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrr.
My ex did that to me once.....I just smiled at him disappeared into the bedroom and came out in a decent frock and told him I'd booked a table at a local restaurant as I thought he'd prefer it....
