Best laptop screen for bright sunlight

My laptop needs replacing and I want a laptop I can comfortably use outdoors. I can see the screen on my Blackberry perfectly well, so it shouldn't be impossible.
My current laptop is impossible, all I see is my own reflection, no matter how brightly I set the screen.
Any recommendations or pointers?
