i tried to down load
advanced system care free 3.5
i get this mesage
this applies to any web adress i try to down load
opening
ase-setup.exe
you have chosen to open
asc-set exe
which is a binary file
from .http;//software-files-1.cnet.com
would you like to save this file
i clicked yes
downloaded the programme
could not find it any where
i would help on this please
to download it
where i can click to use it

Are you sure you haven't downloaded a virus hadley?
When you choose to save a downloaded file, a window pops up asking where you want to save it and suggesting a folder. If you actually read the screen at that point you can make a note of where you have chosen to save it.

IF it came from cnet then it should be clean and free of viruses, they are a trustworthy site.

But it's probably not a required piece of software, all of these system optimisation and cleaner programs have as much chance of causing problems then they do of curing them, I'd just leave it alone and use all the normal tools for keeping your system clean and tidy.
