Sagem myX-7 Cable/Software

I recently bought a data cable for my Sagem myX-7 to link it up to my laptop but they seems to be some problems.
I can download all the videos, pictures and sounds off my phone and I can upload pictures and most sounds to my phone but for some reason I cannot upload any videos.
Every time I do it (using "My Pictures And Sounds 7.07") I get a message saying "Your phone is not properly connected. Please plug your phone back in again." The problem is, my phone is connected and after this message is displayed I can no longer connect to my phone without turning it off then back on again.

Any ideas of how I can fix this problem, alternatively any PC software compatible with the Sagem myX-7 I can try?
