Trend Micro suite - how to buy at US price

I am wanting to download the trend micro security suite (officially). I like the trend products 100x more than the god-awful Norton and McAfee suites.

Anyway, I want to buy it at the US price of $49.99 and not the UK price of �39.99 as that saves me 50% before I start. I want to download it, so no reason for me to pay the higher price.

But the trend site wont let me, any ideas on how to fool it or alternative sources that will let me pay the US$ price for the few bits of software I buy.

sounds like a problem similar to itunes ie we pay 99p and the yanks pay 99c

 

can u put your country of residence as usa ?

You wont be able to. Its not difficult to find the country where you are thru your IP address. Looks like you will have to pay the full price.

it's a bit of a bu**er really as I agree, no reason for us to pay a grossly inflated price considering the exchange rate is in our favour.

I was hoping I could get it from a 3rd party site that didn't differentiate the country, I'll keep looking.

The iTunes tracks are 79 pence not 99. Was that a typo?

my point was that we get ripped off compared to the yanks and firms know it - which is why apple have had a rollocking from the euro courts over it and rightly so !

Goto ebay.COM.  There are plenty of Trend micro auctions.   If they dont send internationally then ask them to, most dont mind so long as its just this once.
