I have just got given a "Packard Bell Audiodream 512mb mp3 player" for christmas. The first album I wanted to download was the Prodigy album "Fat of the Land". But half way through it says that there is not enough space for it. What shall I do?

how r u doing it ? an album should be nowhere near 512 mb so there should be loads of room for it.

using media player, rip the cd to your hard drive.then try copying it to your player.

Are you downloading this album from the internet or are you converting it from an audio CD?

If it's from an CD, "rip" it to mp3 at a 'bitrate' of 128kbps. This should leave most albums using noticeably less than 100MB of space.

If you're using a format other than mp3 (media player, mentioned, may want to convert it to wma instead) or doing something not covered here then tell us all more.

What do u mean, just flash on and off. What do u do for this to happen?

well it was all good for like 4 days then one morning i turned it on and the packard bell sign flashed up and off again etc... i couldnt turn it either on or get rid of the flashing packard bell. I returned it for a 'Rio Nitris' only 20 dearer and its like 1.5GB which was 3 times the mem of the audiodream
