does anyone know if you can change the incoming message tone on the samsung sgh-g600 to anything other than the original samsung tune.thanks

Try this (it works on U600 so may be same/similar on yours).

3 Message Tone
1 Text Message
Tone
Default Sounds

Even if not same it should get you somewhere near.
