File conversion WMA to MP3

I bought really cute mp3 for daughter for xmas. put songo on micro sd.....nothing. Sent to friend works fine. turns out all my songs in WMA format. Have changed rip settings to mp3 but all css already in WMP library alreasy in WMA . Can I convert them or do I have to re rip them all? I on Vista if it makes a difference. Many thanks. Debbie

mp3 converted from wma don't sound as good as mp3 ripped directly, at least in my opinion. Listen to a few before you convert them all to check that you find the result acceptable.
