I wish to buy a NC10 netbook for grandaughter with built in mobile broadband. Can one use the netbook without the mobile bit and use the wireless via router if one is available, ?? TIA

Yes . I would like to tell you that Samsung has added two new netbooks to their “N” series of netbooks, the Samsung N130 and N140. powered by the Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 3x USB 2.0 ports.
