Hello all, When we have made a home video, typicaly the hols. when we replay them we often encounter wind noise of which we are only aware of post footage, is there any thing we can do to help with this problem? Thanks in advance

I sympathise with you, as with my old Panasonic I could put a wind sock over the mic, but with these small camcorders you just have to try and shield the mic somehow. If the sound isn`t important to your recording stick a small piece of elastoplast over the mic.
Look for some way of shielding the camera, next to a wall or person. Try to have your back to the wind but unless you buy an expensive windshield it will always be a problem.
