Adding subtitles when burning a dvd

Thanks smorodina for the reply earlier. I was wondering if there is anyway of incoporating SUB files when making a DVD-Video? I use Nerovision express so I can only select the video file to burn without the subtitles.

You can make dvds with switchable subtitles, but most of the cheaper authoring programs won't let you do this. The cheapest (and to my mind the best) one that will let you do so is DVD-Lab Pro:

Which has a 30 day trial. Otherwise, if you don't mind permanent subtitles, you can use virtualdub and vobsub to add them to your video before burning. I've done loads of them, both permanent and switchable, and most of the help I got came from here:
