Hi please could someone advise me the best way to transfer some old VHS tapes to DVD (about 6 hours worth in total). I have seen places advertised that will do it for you but would like to know more about the equipment I would need to do it ourselves. We have laptop TV DVD/Video player Many thanks Gill

I am using a samsung DVD-VR320 this allows me to copy my family vhs tapes to dvd very simply, put in a vhs tape and a blank DVD select COPY and watch it happen on my old TV set. the actual model is DVD RECORDER & VCR DVD VR320 I've used this for a couple of years without any problems and copied all of our home movies on it .
