My laptop CD drive does not recognise any CDs I place into it, ie camera or Windows to try and re-enter program.
Anyone got any answers how I can overcome this problem.

multiple cds - could well be faulty - can you read them in another machine

have you looked in device manager ti see if any errors?
It's also possible that the lenses in the CD drive are dirty and need cleaning.
You can get a CD/DVD drive lens cleaner for a few pounds.
It's like an ordinary CD disc but has small brushes fitted to wipe the lenses over.
Try the Pound shop or similar.
