Because of limited space, I have decided to go back to a laptop and am looking around for a decent spec. preferably with a tv tuner. Two questions, I really do not know how tv tuners work on a computer, can you connect them through your tv cable or do they run through the internet. I have a tv point in the room I will be using the laptop so this would not be a problem. I have been looking at the new 18.4 screen HD blu-ray laptops and there seems to be a huge difference in price in some of them, obviously because of the brand. The Acer looks quite good, but then of course there is the Sony and HP. Anyone any experience of these laptops. Thanks for your help.
