I would like some one to point me in the direction of a decent but not too complicated to use, mobile.
I am with T-Mobile pay as you go. I would say i am a light user 6 a month or so as I don't use it much. BUT when I do make a call it's very expensive, exorbitant really!!
I have started to use it more and have been told to try Vodafone on a 10 per month contract.

If I do this is the switch straight forward?
Can you recommend a decent phone?
Any other deals yo could recommend?

Many thanks Chris

bin it .... wait 'till you get home to make your calls (like we did in the olden days) .... far cheaper ... it will make you more popular on the bus/train/pub .... just about everywhere really

Hi.I couldn't agree more but in this day and age (I'm 63) this technology has crept up on me. I hate the use of 'em in public places etc and tend to switch it off a lot.

Always wondered why people see the need to shout into the bloo$$$$y things whilst walking down the street???
I Have Googled Vodafone & I found their cheapest contract is 15 per month,I did find a 10 per month contract for a Sim card but I don't know anything about that scheme.Ron.
I always think contract deals - whatever their price plans - are best for heavy users. I, too, am a light user and the best pay-as-you-go tariff available at the moment is ASDA Mobile. 4p per text, 8p per minute per call. That's it - 24/7, no catches. Just buy a SIM card from ASDA (49p), and it comes with an easy-to-read 'getting started' guide.
It's dead easy to port your number, too. I top up with 25 - lasts me a year!!!
The ASDA network piggy-backs on to the Vodaphone network, so coverage is universal.
I agree with Sputnik.

Stick with Pay As You Go, and do not sign up to a contract.

I have been with Tesco mobile for years finding them good value compared with the big boys. However you cannot beat those Asda prices.

What I like with the supermarket rates is that you pay the same calling a mobile or a landline, any time of day, so there are no nasty surprises. You don't have to ever think about whether there is a better time to ring.
