Thinking of getting a new LCD TV .i will not have sky on the telly as sky is on the other telly in the house but on me old tv i could watch sky throught the video channel on the second telly from the main tv with sky and a video recorder connected to it. . ON a LCD tv done they have a video channel just like a normal telly

Yes the new TV will almost certainly have a SCART socket and therefore a video channel.
