I recently downloaded and installed SP2. No problems, but when I defrag the PC I can see that I have "lost" about 1.2 GB of space. This seems a lot to me, but I dont know enough about it anyway. Any suggestions as to why its used all that space?

The space is taken up by files that would be needed should you want to uninstall SP2. Have a look at athe following: http://forum.aumha.org/viewtopic.php?t=7265
SP2 makes a backup of files modified during installation. It could be that.

Thanks to both of you. I will have to check out the information that you have kindly found for me. I am not stupid, but this computer stuff is all new to me.:>0

Yes! I just recovered 1GB of space by making a new restore point then erasing the others. I am not sure if I am brave enough to start deleting Windows files though! Thank again.
