When recording on a blank DVD or CD, what type of pen should I use, is it OK to use a normal biro or felt tip to write on the printed side of the disc so I know what I have recorded or must I buy a special pen ?

Special Pen, very cheap on Ebay or Jessops
3 for a quid in the pound shop

poundland dvd pens

d t h ?
use a ball point pen - my mate does .....
..... funny though - none of his discs seem to work!

I just use ordinary felt tipped illegible pens (sorry ... indelible)
just be careful not to saw away making nice thick lines ... it will damage the disc - just buy a thicker tipped pen

I think most supermarkets sell them as well ... (tessys does)
they are so cheap it's pointless buying them on line for a quid and spending 6.00 on postage

Thanks everyone, I wont take a chance with a biro, I'll go to Poundland. Do the 99p shop sell them, or Tesco??
I buy these (from most good stationary shops):
