What's the difference between a USB flash drive & USB 2.0 flash drive

But only if you have USB2 ports on your computer.

How d'you tell whether your ports are USB or USB 2.0??

Start - my computer - view system information (left hand panel)

Click the hardware tab - then device manager

Scroll down the list and click on Universal Serial Bus controllers

Look for the Ehanced Host Controller. If it says USB2 it is, if it doesn't, it's USB1
