hey, does anyone know how difficult it would be to convert a 1998 ford transit van to take biofuel. ie. vegetable oil? i am reasonably mechanically minded and am definently not one of these who pa\ys someone else to do things because i dont want to at least try and have a go myself. so i would like to tackle it myself but any help would be appreciated. ta

While buring old chip oil is sensible, most biodiesel ismade of edible vegetable oil and its use is contributing to food dhortages and helping to drive up the price.

Moreover the petrochemical fuels used to grow the food and process it into fuel frequently makes more pollution than the biofuel prevents.

There is little point to converting to biofuel.
