Album appearing 3 times on ipod nano?

Added an album via itunes and it is showing 3 times. When first added it contained 3 genres so I thought that was my problem so i changed to all matching but no difference. I have removed and replaced the album in itunes and re added to ipod but still showing 3 times.
All 3 albums play and all contain the full number of tracks.
Can anyone shed any light on why this would be?
