Hi. I currently have sky+ and am considering an upgrade to Sky HD.

I would like the current sky + box installed in another room so will need a multi room subscription.

In reading up on this I note some comments stating that the HD box needs all 4 of the dish outputs rather than the 2 currently used by the + box.

Can anyone confirm this and if so does this mean two dishes??

Cheers
Richard

Over the past few months there has been talk of a 4 tuner Sky HD digibox (the 'standard' HD box has 2 tuners as does Sky+).

If it was the case that you wished to connect between 5 and 8 tuners to your dish you would do so by replacing the LNB with an Octo LNB i.e. 8 outputs.

Fantastic,

Hi Richard' .....the HD box is effectively a Sky+ box and needs only two LNB outputs ....so you will have the other two available for your current Sky+ box
