My brothers computer keeps getting advert pop ups like casino adverts etc, when he is browsing internet. ( think the culprit might be websites like Bearshare / Limewire, games dowloading websites etc) His computer has all the same security as mine (AVG anti virus, AVG anti spyware, spyware blaster, Windows Defender, Google pop up blocker), and I have since installed Adaware. I do not get anything wrong with my computer but my brothers is full of pop ups. I have tried to restore to a previous date but it's a new pc and it and it has never been backed up so there is no restore date so I cannot do this. Does anyone know how he can get rid of pop ups?? Your help is much appreciated.

If he is using Windows Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" in top line (with File, Edit etc) & tick pop-up blocker. Hey Presto!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Mozilla Firefox (free to download) has a very good, user friendly pop-up blocker. There's also a free add-on you can download called Adblock Plus, which you can use to get rid of adverts per se.
if you do download free software use filehippo...don't ues cnet
windows defender is crap...use only one program for spyware, why do you need 3????adaware is the best,if you download free software read the installation file, some times you download programs without realising, try adblock plus for chrome
and tell him STOP WATCHING NET PORN!!!!!!! that's prob were your ads are coming from lol
