Lately when I have been waiting for the computer to load up, the mouse has been getting stuck and I've had to turn it off manually to try again. What does this mean? It seems to be taking AGES to load up. Thanks.

stuck as in the curser is stuck on the screen? or stop as in the ball isnt moving when you move the mouse? Have you taken the bottom of the mouse off and cleaned inside it?
Question Author
Stuck as the cursor is stuck on the screen!
Most cordless mice either have a usb stick which detaches from the mouse and plugs into a usb port,

Or, the cradle plugs into the computer, either mouse port or usb......

In either scenario there is nothing actually attached to the mouse itself...........

Does your mouse have a laser light, or a roller-ball bottom ?

Mycats message suggests how to clean it if it is a ball-type........

It has a laser light!
Right, route one....................batteries ? Does it have them and have you checked them ?
Question Author
Yes it does and they were changed recently. The red light on top flashes when they get low, so I know they are okay now.
