DVD burning software

I have used Nero for many years now but it has recently, for some unknown reason, started churning out coasters instead of discs so I was looking for recommendations on other burning software......any tips?

try roxio - no problems for me

Yup, try Easy CD creator by Roxio. If your burner is not recognised then get the relevant software update from the Roxio website.

I much prefer Roxio too, but have you changed your brand of blank discs? Sometimes certain brands just won't work with certain hard/software combos. (Usually only the cheaper brands).

No....no change of media at all........no reason for the software to stop working.....I think I'll give roxio a try then.

Just make sure it's not your writer. Mine packed up a couple of months ago, and I initially blamed the software.
