Chris, re.your ref to Gawab (e mail) I 've tried& tried to open this site. After completing all of the questions asked I arrive at the last page & a banner appears stating :-'' ! No Translation Found ''. I have gone back several times & everything I have typed appears to be in order & I cannot find an explanation anywhere, I am about to abandon the whole affair but thought I would check with you first. Ron.

Hmm

I've just tried to set up a new account with Gawab. I didn't get the same message as you but I did keep getting returned to the same screen in the setup wizard. It looks like they've got a temporary server problem. I've e-mailed their technical staff to tell them there's a problem and I'll let you know when it's fixed. (Despite this problem, I still recommend Gawab. The sign-up problem isn't affecting their mail servers. I can still send & receive mail as normal).

Cheers Chris,please let me know,& meanwhile I'll keep trying.Ron.
Hi Ron,

It looks like the problems have been fixed. I've not had a reply to my mail but I've now successfully opened a test account, so I suggest that you have another go.

Just one point to note, when you get to the page where it asks whether you want the 'Webmail 3.0 Beta' interface or the 'Classic' one, I suggest going for the 'Classic' option. I've always used it in the past but I decided to click on the Webmail 3.0 link this time, to see what the difference is. I discovered that the page takes ages to load (nearly 10 minutes on dial-up!). The Classic view is far quicker to load. Of course, if you're only going to access your account via Outlook Express (which is what I do most of the time), it doesn't really matter which web option you choose.

To save you hunting for it, I'll repeat the link for the instructions to set up Outlook Express for use with your Gawab account:
