Does anyone know of a good site that I can download audio books from. I don't mind paying if the quality is good. I am looking for the classics to start, particularly Thomas Hardy and Dickens. Thank you.

hi stretchylegs
If you are happy to pay for your downloads there is a great site called 'audible.co.uk'. The prices are very reasonable and they have hundreds of titles to choose from. Not sure if it still applies but they did have a free trial offer going where you were allowed one free download.

hope this helps

Not tried them (so I don't know about the quality), but if you want classics, Project Gutenburg (they archive out of copyright titles) have some audio books. The human-read selection ( http://www.gutenberg.org/browse/categories/1 ) only has "A Christmas Carol", but the computer-read selection ( http://www.gutenberg.org/browse/categories/2 ) seems quite extensive.

mad4music's Limewire comment is correct but (as with most P2P content) please bear in mind that while free, what you are downloading is not legally traded.

Go to http://www.kazaa-platinum.com and start downloading music/movies right away. The excitement our family shares for music is now truly unlimited thanks to the incredibly easy-to-use Music Downloads Membership.
