I remember some years ago (15+, maybe longer) an article on TV talking about a 'reverse microwave oven' based on a technique called 'electron swapping' (I think) where (for example) a bottle of wine could be chilled from room temp to cold in a matter of a minute or two. Anyone remember this or have any info on what happened to it?

Looks like it - funny how it was presented as one of those objects that we'd all have in out homes in ten years etc etc.

Certainly sounds like the 'electron swapping' description.

Many thanks!
