Trying again to get help with Canon photorecord

Recently requested help with this without success. Am trying to move or copy text from album created with photorecord. I need to transfer text (ie poems) from a photorecord album but have been unable to open files.alb. This programme allows very restrictive changes and some poems are quite long (I'm no copy typist) I have looked on Canon website and tried their forum with no success. Copying pictures over is OK but not text If anyone can help I really would be grateful
