Microsoft Vista!

I have new computer ACER (laptop) which has Microsoft Vista Premium Installed. Can anyone recommend a wireless multifunction printer (no fax) which is compatible with VISTA, which does not have issues with driver downloads? I have an Epson Stylus C84 which I have installed which is not FULLY compatible with VISTA. I have no real problem with Vista but why did'nt Microsoft sort out the problems associated with hardware?
