Hi I have an Acer Aspire laptop and my mouse and button and scroller thing has just died and won't work. the rest of the laptop seems fine. Any ideas on the problem and what to do?

my initial check would be to try another mouse.this would show whether it was a faulty mouse or a laptop problem.
