Sorry if this is a really stupid question. I have downloaded a piece of video that is nearly 4 hours long, usually I do it in sections but I downloaded it all in one go and now it wont let me put it on dvd as they are only 2 hours long. Usually it fits on because I have did it in sections, I was wondering if there was any way to split this full recording into sections or any other way around this problem of trying to fit it onto disc other than buy a 4hr long dvd-r. Thanks for any help.

try converting it with winAVI. You might find you can get it on one DVD. I've got normal 4.7GB DVDs with well over 2 hours of video on them.

In fact, thinking about it, If you use Nero, it usually gives you the option when burning of making it long play.
DVDShrink and DVDSanta are good for this kind of problem. No need to convert with DVDSanta and may compress to fit or convert to avi and try DVDShrink.

Hope this helps...
