Hi, I currently have a first generation ipod nano, my girlfriend has an ipod mini.

We are always swapping songs (plugging each others ipod in each others computers etc) - So far had no problems

HOWEVER:

I have spoken to a couple of other people with ipods and they told me that only 1 ipod could be used on a pc (unless you have multiple user accounts) as the ipod needs to be authorised for the machine.

I was just wondering if this is correct or have I been lucky so far?

Thanks!

One iTunes library can have several iPods, if you want all the iPods to revolve around the music in that library.

If you want a few iPods to have totally different music, you're best having several user accounts -- one for each person who owns an iPod.
