Pioneer DVDR drive disappeared!!

I have an Acer Aspire 5100 and have somehow managed to lose my CD/DVD Drive which was a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K16RS. I haven't been able to perform a system restore and I can't find a driver to download at all. Does anybody have any advice?
