Bluetooth radio?

I recently bought an Acer laptop.It has a Bluetooth switch on the front of the machine but ,when pressed,the message reads
No Bluetooth Radio

What IS a Bluetooth radio? Is it the same as a dongle? Will a dongle do instead? Does it have to be a specialo type of dongle?

I only want to download pics etc from my phone.

Bluetooth is the capability to communicate with your phone.

Your acer does not have it built in so you would need to buy a bluetooth dongle.

Expect to pay around �15
