Hi Im just wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding transfering music from my itunes on to a friends new Ipod nano. I have the latest version of itunes but when I plug in the new ipod it asks for username info etc.. Obviously since this is a friends player and they will want to use there own computer in the future I don't want to have the player restricted for use only on my computer. Is there a simple/otherway of doing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thx

If they want it on their computer, why don't they just put it on their computer... ?

If you just want to transfer some of your music onto the iPod, you could just skip iTunes for now and use yamipod.

Thanks for the reply. My friend has no computer access at the moment and has currently purchased an ipod hence the reason they cannot use their own. I will look at your suggestion. Many Thanks
It'll ask you to register the iPod when you first use it, requiring him to get an appleID. He can do this from any computer though, it doesn't really matter.

The iPod will sync with the music on iTunes. If he syncs it with your iTunes library, then when he goes to sync it with his it'll ask if he wants to change the association over from yours to his. Saying yes may erase everything on the iPod if he doesn't yet have music in his iTunes library. To get past this you can use yamipod to copy the music from iPod to his computer first.
