I have just got a ZyXEL router for connecting broadband/internet. I have made several attempts to configure a wireless arrangement but have faied to do so. IWhen I do properties for network connections I notice that my wireless connection status is 'Not Connected. It is a Wireless Prism 802.11g. I also get a 'cable not connected' message. I can however easily set up the router for wired connection. Is there a switch somewhere on my PC that 'switches on' the wireless card?

Not sure about PC's but on my laptop, I had to press the Fn + F2 keys at the same time to turn on the wireless radio !! Check the manual that came with your pc - look up wireless connection or radio.
Jugglering is right but sometimes there is a physical switch. I found this on a Fujitsu-Siemens laptop recently - hidden away at the bottom right of the keyboard (black on black!!). One or two have it at the front of the laptop (where it is easily switched off by accident).

Is it a laptop or a desktop that you're talking about?

Thanks for the suggestions so far - no luck yet. It is a desktop OC (Medion 8080XL). It already uses a wireless keyboard and mouse.
