have been away for a few days and you know how the emails mount up. Got back and tried to read my emails. well they were taking forever to download, it jammed for half an hour. So i did ctrl/alt/del/ to get out of it and a message came up 'navapw32 not responding.' So did Ctrl/alt/del to restart my computer and guess what? A fatal exception has occurred ...etc. Now I am too scared to open outlook express again in case it seizes up again. Have I got a rogue email causing this? Fatal exception always terrifies me as in the past it has resulted in hard drive failure. Rescue me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd think your anti-virus program should ensure you have no unwelcome guests - you do have an anti-virus program don't you? I'd be inclined to defrag your hard drive(s) and if you've got the time to scan them then reboot.
