i have had a new sky system installed this morning and since then i have been trying to get my dvd/vcr recorder ( which is working) to operate with the new system
I have had no luck so far. any help would be appreciated.

You need two Scart leads - one from the Sky box to your TV, the other one from the Sky box to your DVD/VCR then choose an appropriate AV channel (AV1, AV2 or AV3) using your DVD/VCR handset. This also assumes another Scart lead to connect the DVD/VCR to your TV. If your TV doesn't have two Scart sockets, then you'll have to try to daisy-chain the units together.

Wideboy, I bought an extra scart lead and followed your advice and now the system works perfectly
