cant retune Matsui 20t crt tv - HELP!

Second time of seeking help! Had Matsui 20T crt tv tuned in living room to recieve SKY. Bought new LCD to replace it and moved Matsui to spare room. Cant get it to tune in using original Matsui remote ( which has new batteries!). Just scans across tuning bar but doesn't pick up any channels. Signal to TV is ok - tried it with a little portable. Could it have lost memory or developed another? which doesn't recognise its own remote. Or does tuning tv to operate by the Sky remote blank its memory?
