If you're writing ok to DVD+RW and DVD-R, you should be OK on DVD+R. Is it refusing to burn? or are the burnt discs just not playable?
If it's the latter, it could be the discs. Cheap discs often are crap and don't burn very well.

Found out that to my cost,ugly-bob. Never buy cheap disks again. Everything OK now,Thanks for your reply.
yeah, me too smoker. Although the cheap ones at PC World are fine. (PC Line I think is the brand). Never had a problem with those.
Can't find any decent cheap printable ones though. Using verbatim at 9 for 25 I think from here
And if the data is to be used in a standalone player, NEVER copy at more than 4x speed. any faster and it will break up and freeze during playback.
