Have set up a wireless router, allowing me to use my laptop anyway within the house (instead of short connection from Ntl set top. Signal is very good and sometimes excellent, but the system has slowed down somewhat (balloon states too many programs), even when I have just switched on. Have been advised that the wirefree Router will cause this to happen. Does anyone know if there is a solution, so I can have the best of both worlds!!?

When you say the system has slowed down what do you mean? The internet or the laptop itself (Browsing the Hard Disk, etc...)

Have been out all morning, so thats why the delay in replying....

It's when I'm searching on the internet, just seems to drag before connecting to a website....before installing router much quicker....the connection bar at bottom of screen (green bars) Don't know the name seems to stick on two - then 30 secs go by and then the whole field displays before connecting>

Hope I've explained it clearly?!? :o))
