I'm confused - you need a bt line for talk talk.

its a new house and has just had a brand new connection to bt made ,so therefore i cant change my line rental to anybody else for 12months. which is a requirement of talk talk and some other broadband companies ,i think.

Look at V21 - 19 uncapped (I use) or 9.98 (11.98 without phone call deal) capped.

HaveTelewest laid cables around there?

No limits on my Telewest Blueyonder I pay 14.99 a month for 2 MB. I make my outgoing calls with a Dixons/Currys Freetalk broadband (Voice over internet) box of tricks, which is, in effect 7.99 per month for unlimited , anytime, landline calls, and I receive calls through BT paying them the bare minimum!

One other point. If you make international calls the Freetalk option is a winner (e.g. 2p per min France). Oh, and you also have a second phone number.
