Google toolbar riddle

I've installed a Google toolbar (I've got BT Yahoo broadband), but when I come out of broadband, when it loads again the Google toolbar has gone and I have to reinstall it? What am I doing wrong?

When you go back into internet explorer/firefox (or whichever internet browser you're using - have a look at the View>toolbars and see if the google toolbar is ticked.Not sure if this will do the trick though,
