Just ask the company you're changing to, to keep your old number.

Doing what fo3nix said will cost you around �20 if your old number is a different network. If you are staying with the same network and both phones are pay as you go, you should just be able to insert the old sim into the new phone. However, to use all its function you will need to update the setting i.e. wap, mms etc
