What do you think of BT nowadays? Are they a 21st Century communications leader or an old school dinosaur that lost it's way?

a bit of both to be honest.they trade off of past reputations but have been given a kick up the botty in recent years as the uk's internet technology was practically 3rd world.they now seem to be getting their act together but i wouldnt go with them thru principal.
I think withdrawing the piper was a mistake. I hate this poncy colourful sphere logo.
It all went down hill when they got rid of Buzby

Do you all know BT could not freely set its prices for phone and internet? Apparently later this year, BT may be given the freedom to set its own prices so we will see what they decide to do. I think they could blow the market to peices as they could probably afford to.

Competition is treating BT and Royal Mail rather badly I fear.

Well I use them for the phone because I hardly make any calls (!) but I'd never use them for the internet. What I really loathe about them is those wretched adverts with that drippy chap from "My Family" (which I also hate); when is the muppet going to realise he's being taken for a ride by Ms Dreary and her limp, grey-attired children? I would like BT a lot more if the last advert in that series showed her and the kids piled in a cab with all their junk and grey clothes and him changing the locks and reclaiming his space (oh and logging on to BT broadband to close that "joint account") Any chance BT?
