I just received an email saying that my online bill was available from O2, when I clicked on the link as I'm an O2 customer, my virus alert went off, something about java, when i ran my antivirus program I had received a trojan, so if anyone has received an email like this please be aware, I have also emailed o2 to let them know. Can anyone tell me what a trojan thingy can do to a computer?

A trojan sort of makes a back door that a hacker or similar can use to take over your PC or whatever. They aren't good! Was it a genuine email? If it's not you can normally tell by the spelling and/or grammar.
