clean screen

An earlier post by WendyS had a link to a cute little kitty cleaning the inside of my screen. Is there a way to download that video so i dont need to access the webpage to view it ?

I emailed it to myself, and it worked fine, unfortunately, it will still only access the web for it to work.

If you right click the link http://www.bassfiles.net/cleanscreen.swf and select "save target as" then save it in my documents or wherever, that should mean you don't need to access the net (?).

Then you'd just have to go into my documents, find the cleanscreen.swf and open with>internet explorer.

Spacechimp, have already tried that one. Will only work if you have a programme that supports the format. I've tried everything else but I've now given up! Like Lonnie, I also tried mailing it to myself.

Yes, but it will only open up via the webb page with internet explorer. I have been trying to transfer the 'cat action' to work independently on my computer.

yes spacechimp it opens fine with internet exploror but i want to view it on demand as with all of my other video , not on the net.

It's not actually accessing the net to play it though if you've downloaded it. I take it you understand that(?)

I've made it into an animated GIF but it runs too quickly and it's squashed. http://tinyurl.com/frf87 it's 6mb so if will take a while. (do save target as or will be jerky)

If I understand your question correctly, you want to download the swf file of the kitty and play it on your computer. Correct?

If so, it is easy. Download SWF Opener from http://www.unhsolutions.net/downloads.html (freeware, near the bottom of the page). It will associate swf files with itself and all you need to do is double click the file - SWF Opener will open and play it. You can set it to run full screen if you like. If you do, just click the Esc key to exit Full Screen mode. There are many other options as well - just play with the options.

NOTE: It will not associate itself with files that are directly played from the web, only the ones you have saved.

I use it all the time (XP Pro-SP2 + other updates). It allows you to play swf files just like any other video files.

I dont have a problem playing the video. What i want to do is save it to my hard drive and be able to play it from there.
